Pentax SP Digital

This is a description of the Pentax SP Digital.

The classic SP has been revived with parts made using a 3D printer.

The built-in battery can be charged via USB and all functions have been confirmed to work.
A digital camera is installed inside, so the flash cannot be used.

The resin viewfinder can be turned clockwise (it moves slightly) to turn the switch on/off.
The lever near the SPOTMATIC lettering is the zoom lever.
The shutter is the original shutter button in its original position.
The filter is φ58 and can be replaced (it comes with an ND4 filter).
While some parts were made with a 3D printer and original components were used, the winding lever, shutter dial, and self-timer are dummies for decoration. The exterior retains the original condition, so there are scratches, dents, and scuffs.

The digital camera is a Panasonic DMC-SZ3.

A 16GB SD card is included. Images can be transferred to a PC via the USB port on the side.
Storing the camera in temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius may cause deformation.
Applying excessive force to any part may cause damage.

* Due to the structure, there is a slight vignetting in the lower right corner when the power is on.

To replace the battery, remove the screws on the bottom.
